In best-selling author Sandra Boynton’s latest book, a very enthusiastic chicken cheers on his friends when they are feeling sad, anxious, and overworked. After the chicken’s cheers disturb someone's nap, he has to learn that it's okay to make a mistake and that it is perfectly okay to take a breath and take a break.

Sometimes all you need to keep going is an encouraging word and this enthusiastic chicken is sure to give you one. This book tackles the anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed when doing something new or different and discusses the negative feelings that come with failure. It explains that it is okay to make mistakes and it's even more okay to take a break and take a sweet nap.

This book has a ton of rhymes and easy vocabulary. It is the perfect book for Kindergarteners, and for anyone who needs a little reminder that they are doing great. The book includes fun illustrations created by Sandra herself featuring a variety of cute farm animals.

WOO HOO! You're Doing Great! is 40 pages long and was published in April 2023 by Little, Brown Books For Young Readers. The preferred grade is K-3, and the recommended age is 5-8.
